who and what is boo vake? boo vake is a colourful craft gallery/shop run by design graduate Arlene Baird selling work by independent artists, makers & designers and small design companies based in the UK.

how long have you been here? we've been in our current shop since 1997 but we've infact been on the go since 1993.

what does boo vake mean? absolutely nothing! we were actually bùth bheag ('little shop' in gaelic) but after many years of nobody being able to say it, we gave in and use boo vake instead (which infact you say exactly the same!).

can I buy online? at the moment boo vake is just a bricks & mortar shop and nothing beats seeing the shop in person, but if that's not possible you can always get in touch and we will see what we can do!
